I prototyped the first working version of MIXA which is a USB drive implemented inside a Classic Cassette Tape, (from initial ideas provided by Suzie Webb, Art Director at magneticNorth). Mixa is product of Magnetic North Interactive Ltd.

MIXA is a blank cassette (normal size) but instead of tape the MIXA cassette has a retractable USB with 1GB of storage. You can design your own unique sleeve using your own images, or you can pick from our lovely MIXA designs. MIXA comes with a plastic case, a set of stickers, a USB extension cable and a beautiful box. When it’s delivered to your door, just plug it in and fill it up with your music, photos, video and other digital goodies – all the digital stuff that normally hides unloved and unseen on your super dull hard-drive.
